Inkreaver is a martial arts ink brush font painted with fast, confident strokes. Every letter leans forward, the strokes swell with brush pressure and finish in sharp tapered points, and the long strokes of A, K, R and Y split into a few dry bristle tips.

The strokes are solid black with no splatter inside, so the font stays clean on screen and in print. Under the brush work it is a readable Latin script: there are no Chinese or Japanese characters.

How It Behaves

Inkreaver is fast and slanted, so it already looks in motion. Set short names and titles in mixed case: the lowercase keeps the brush rhythm, while long words in all caps get crowded at the tapered points.

Black ink on rice-paper cream or white ink on deep vermilion are the natural pairings. The dry bristle tips on A, K, R and Y are part of each letter shape, so they survive scaling down to a 28 px headline.
