Silkeave is an elegant Asian-inspired serif with a quiet voice. Its serifs curl softly like the eaves of a pagoda, and round letters carry small pointed accents, like ink lifted from a brush. Think of a temple above a misty lake, not a battlefield.

It stays close to a classic Latin serif, so book titles, chapter headings and short lines read easily. Only the Latin alphabet is included, so you get an eastern mood without novelty lettering or Asian scripts.

A Quiet Serif

Silkeave is the calm sibling among eastern-inspired display fonts: lighter, with soft curled serifs instead of spikes. It is readable enough for a two-line subtitle or a short menu, not only a logo.

Use it with plenty of empty space and muted colors, like plum, ink black or pale gold on cream. It pairs well with simple line illustrations and brush-painted landscapes.
